MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
This position is responsible for the organization’s marketing and outreach, including printed materials, online presence (website and social media), press releases, photography of people and events, and representing OAR at community events.
The Board will support the work of OAR and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by OAR’s chief executive officer (CEO), the Board-CEO relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected. Specific Board Member responsibilities include:
Unpaid full-time (30 hours or more at least four full days a week) internship opportunities are available every semester and offer students a unique experience within the social services field. OAR only accepts interns that can commit to full-time internships.
