Clients Talk With Reentry Advisors:
"I think the job interview went really well. The manager felt more comfortable, I think, with my telling the truth about my convictions than he would have felt if I had tried to lie about them. He seemed a little surprised by my honesty. And you know what? I felt better about myself as well."
"When I was first released from prison after serving 8 years, OAR helped me find a job in a supermarket. It was a start - the first step they called it - but I never thought I would get back to my chosen career. I’m an engineer, and I recently landed a professional job with the county water authority. I guess I’d call this the second step."
