“After being away for 25 years, I was released with $25, I was homeless, with no income, my family didn’t want to see me, I was scared and disoriented. I wondered around for a day not knowing where I was- Arlington is not what it used to be. Finally someone told me about OAR and I walked into their office and that very day they feed me, got me into a shelter, and started helping me with the job search. I now have a job and a home. OAR believed in me and with their help I now believe in myself.”
