OAR’s Encouraged Reading/Resource List for Racial Justice + Liberation Cohorts
We have included a list of encouraged readings and resources for each cohort below. All of these encouraged readings/materials were chosen because they highlight and exemplify our values of liberation for all. Topics in these readings/materials include: decolonization, white supremacy, tapping into emotions and body experiences, connecting with our ancestors, the concepts of rest, pleasure, joy, and love and why they are essential to our human experience, navigating through our liberation journey, and more.
*Please note that some of these required readings and materials may include/discuss adult topics and we also want to give a trigger warning for any of these readings and materials ahead of time for any sensitive topics discussed in them as well. *
