Project Backpack Volunteer Registration
Fill out the form below to register to attend OAR’s “Project Backpack!” Volunteers at this event will help package and prepare back-to-school supplies to be delivered or mailed to children who have a parent incarcerated locally. You will have a direct impact on the lives of these children and will help to strengthen the relationship between child and parent that is often strained due to incarceration.
This event will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Christ Church of Arlington (3020 N Pershing Dr, Arlington, VA 22201).
We also need volunteers who will deliver packages to the children’s homes between August 3-10. All deliveries are in Northern Virginia and DC, and you can decide which areas you are willing to deliver to. You may indicate on the form below if you are able to deliver packages. The packages can be picked up at the end of Project Backpack on August 2nd.
